Attention, Commander!

Halloween has arrived in Guns Up! Mobile, and the top brass wants you to know the details!

 

Halloween Update

- Added Haunted Base Theme and 3 Halloween Army Colors.

- These new cosmetic items can be acquired by purchasing the new limited time ‘Trick or Treat’ bundle in the Store.

- New Themes and Army Colors can be applied to your army through the Player Profile popup (accessed by tapping on your Player Level and XP Gauge). Then ‘Army Color’ and ‘Base Theme’ menus.

 

- Added new equipment: 

- Vampire Fangs - lets a unit absorb part of the damage dealt to opponents as HP for themselves.

 

 

- Added a new limited time Pumpkin Crate to the Store:

- The Pumpkin Crate offers a better chance of acquiring the new Vampire Fangs equipment.

- A new limited time Halloween Event has started:

- Kill Zombies during the event period to receive Pumpkin Crate Keys and other rewards!

 

Overall Bug Fixes

- “Complete 3 Raids” quest will now progress on both win or loss.

- Fixed Light Tank's Improved Engine skill not working properly.

- Fixed error with League percentile calculation.

- Fixed reconnect popup not showing up when connection is unstable.

- Fixed reconnect issues that would happen after leaving the game paused in the background.

- Fixed reconnect popup appearing on title screen and blocking connect button.

- Fixed exclamation marks appearing for Equipment Slots when an equipment is already assigned to said slot.

- Fixed an issue that caused player XP to display incorrectly in the Player Profile popup.

- Moved GDPR/Terms of Service popup to happen before player account login.

- Fixed the problem of Music and SFX volume levels always going back to default values after restarting the app.

- Several localization fixes: English, Hindi, French, German


Art & UI

- Added relevant +/- signs to percent stats changes with upgrades.

- Changed Reconnect Dialog to have a transparent background and be smaller to be less intrusive. Moved it to the center left screen to minimize the chance of blocking menus.

- Fixed upgrade FX for units and vehicles that were flipping to a blank white card.

- Fixed incorrect gold generator upgrade VFX & materials.

- Updated images for Guides for better clarity.

- Updated battle UI design to better accommodate a new Veterans deployment button.

- Updated the Light Tank’s firing animation, sound, muzzle flash, and impacts. Added fire and smoke when it is destroyed.

- Updated the Assault Car’s damaged feedback.  Added fire and smoke when it is destroyed.

- Updated Missile Truck firing and reload animations. Added status effects in different damaged states. Added fire and smoke when it is destroyed.

- Updated FX for the Airstrike Commander Ability.

- Updated FX for the Bombing Run Commander Ability.

- Updated Anti-Tank with proper attack animations.

- Added debris animation for the Missile when it is shot down.

- Improvements made to view cone visibility on certain structures.

Replays

- Added an error message when replay desyncs occur.

- Fixed replay desyncs due to Veteran level ups.

- Fixed replay desyncs when an AA gun shoots down a Commander Ability.

- Fixed replay desyncs due to grenadier's fast reload and grunts' enrage traits.

- Fixed an issue that could break replays if too many projectiles were spawned simultaneously.

 

Progression Balance

- Limit to daily Raid rewards to 50 items a day (Gold, Ammo and Crates can still be received without restrictions)

- Updated Bronze League’s last place reward to be 1 Gem instead of 0.

- Updated Opponent Refresh cost for Raids (PvP) to be lower.

- Adjusted XP gains from upgrading content/structures.

- Adjusted XP gains from Raids.

- Adjustments made to Zombie Mode:

- Increased ballistic damage resistance for all Zombie types.

- Decreased Zombie Boss HP multiplier.

- Adjustments made to Defend Mode:

- AI will use Commander Abilities less often in early difficulties.

- Adjusted Skill Medal conversion from Legendary units: 1 -> 2

- All Legendary Units will now be available in crates starting at Command Center Level 2: 

- The following Units and their medals can now be received as rewards from gameplay or from crates as soon as the tutorial is completed:

- Sergeant, Engineer, Mercenary, Sharpshooter, Commando, Rocketeer, Riot, Surgeon, Bombardier, Colonel.

- The following units will be unlocked and granted for free to players with progression:

- Grunt, Sniper, Bounty Hunter, MG, Flamer, Ranger

- Adjusted Supply Crate drop rates and pricing:

- Price: 160 Gems -> 190 Gems

- Drop Rates: Loot Box Odds Disclosure (NEW)

 

Content Balance

- Adjusted Structure resistance against Snipers:

- From 50% to 90% for Bunker, Sniper Tower, Mortar, Radio Tower, Tent, Wall, Sandbag, and Barbed Wire.

- From 50% to 70% for Anti-Air and Anti-Tank

- Adjusted Outpost Explosive resistance:

- 50% taken -> 25% damage taken

- Adjusted Medic stats

- HP 350 -> 375

- Damage 17 -> 14

- Attack Range 21 -> 22

- Fire Rate 0.2 -> 0.3

- Accuracy 71% -> 69%

- Reload Speed 1.1->1.25

- Clip Size 35 -> 30

- Adjusted healing to scale with leveling

      - Was 5hp/s, now scales from 8hp/s to 20.56hp/s

- Fixed Medic’s healing aura stacking bug.

- Adjusted Sergeant stats

- Damage 45 -> 25

- Attack Range 20 -> 21

- Fixed Sergeant’s ability aura stacking bug.

- Adjusted Sniper stats

- HP 300 -> 280

- Damage 310 -> 300

- Fire Rate 3 -> 3.5

- Reload Speed 3.5 -> 4

- Adjusted Ranger stats

- Base Damage 21 -> 23

- Adjusted Grunt stats

- Base Damage 20 -> 18

- Adjusted Rocketeer stats

- Base Damage 300 -> 200

- Adjusted Assault stats

- Base Damage 11 -> 10

- Adjusted Grenadier stats

- Aim Time 0.5 seconds -> 0.75 seconds

- Adjusted Engineer ability to scale with level

        - Was 2hp per second, now scales from 4hp/s up to 20.56hp/s

        - Fixed Engineer ability aura stacking bug.

- Adjusted Bounty Hunter stats

         - Damage increase from 7 dmg with 12 bullets to 12 dmg with 10 bullets

- Adjusted Armored Vehicle stats

         - Base Movement speed: 3.3 -> 2.5

         - Base HP: 3,000 -> 4,000

         - Base Damage: 15 -> 17

- Adjusted Light Tank stats

         - Base HP: 5,000 -> 6,000

- Adjusted Bombing Run stats

      - Min Damage: 1,100 -> 700

      - Max Damage: 5,653 -> 3,602 

- Changed the Decoy commander ability from Common to Rare.

 

Known Issues:

- You may see some low resolution assets for Pumpkin Keys, Equipment and Materials in the UI. We’re working to improve those with an optional patch in the future.

- We’re also aware of a potential issue that may occur when receiving multiple mission rewards consecutively. If you’re stuck after receiving a mission reward, press the back button on your android device to move out from the rewards screen. In this case rewards may not appear in the fanfare but they are properly deposited to your account.
