Registered date : 2021.11.16 Heading:Patch Notes
Attention, Commander!
The battlefield is evolving, and the top brass wants you to know the details!
General Improvements
- Added IPV6 connection support. This should enable some people that were unable to play on certain networks to be able to connect to the game.
- The game automatically Pauses with a view of the settings menu when putting the app in the background.
- Tapping the back button while on a Tutorial Dialog will now properly close the message, without closing the underlying popup.
- Fixed several issues that could cause disconnects during gameplay.
- Fixed Linking or Loading Accounts causing the game to hang on the loading screen.
- Fixed a problem where some Missions were not tracking Commander Ability usage properly.
- Fixed enemy Veterans not being marked as killed.
- Fixed Veterans not losing LP after being killed in defenses.
- Fixed Commando's ultimate ability not working properly.
- Fixed units being untargetable near the far edge of the largest rock.
- Fixed a bug that let units continue moving while stunned if they were moving to a cover point.
- Fixes issue where resource generator caps were displaying incorrectly.
- Fixed Anti-Tank Gun attack sometimes not working properly.
- Surgeons that get stunned/wounded while attempting to heal another unit will now drop their syringe and let other surgeons attempt to heal their target.
- Decoys now make snipers & sharpshooters deal friendly fire damage like the rest of the units (depending on decoy placement).
Visual Improvements
- Changed Push Notification icon.
- Sorts potential rewards alphabetically (all game modes).
- Difficulty tabs now remember your previous difficulty selection. Will update to the most difficult option if you recently unlocked a new difficulty.
- Radio Towers now have equipment previews, similar to Tents with their assigned Units.
- Improved visuals for Leagues menu UI.
- Improved visual for League Results UI popup.
- Added progress tracker to 'Current Objective" display.
- Added lighting hotspots to the Haunted Theme.
- Adjusted Missile debris for better quality (when shot down by AA Guns).
- Fixed some Equipment not showing the correct rarity background.
- Fixed textbox not resizing correctly upon changing languages during the tutorial.
- Fixed font breaking when switching languages during the tutorial.
- Fixed UI elements not refreshing fast enough, causing them to overlap. This was most noticeable in the Inventory, where opening different Unit pop-up screens in quick succession caused the wrong skills to be displayed.
- Fixed League Rewards menu being off-center.
- Fixed the Store UI breaking when Valor appeared as a Daily Deal.
- Fixed color of panels in the store to display the correct rarity of items.
- Fixed store purchase confirm popup display.
- Fixed Supply Drop icons sometimes being too high in the Defend HUD.
- Fixed the Stars in the Initial Tutorial Battle appearing behind the background image.
Replay Improvements
We’re going back on the replay error display approach and changing how we communicate replay desyncs to players. Now a replay error indicator will appear on the timeline that shows an error message when pressed. You can continue watching replays after errors, but know that they will be somewhat inaccurate in this case.
Our goal is to continue optimizing replays so they are more accurate with each future patch. Some of the fixes mentioned below will improve the overall quality of replays now:
- Fixed an issue that could break defend mode replays depending on the playback rate;
- Fixed Smoke and Decoy commander abilities causing errors and replay desyncs;
- Fixed item reward drops causing a replay desync;
- Fixed replay desyncs caused by using Rocketeers;
- Fixed replay desyncs that could occur when bullets penetrate building corners from high angles (eg: from paratroopers next to a structure)
- Fixed replay desyncs that could occur after units die while seeking rally flags.
Community Challenges
Changes were made so scoring no longer stacks. Instead, your placement will be based on the best score achieved during a Community Challenge match. This will start to be applied with upcoming Community Challenges.
Dealing with Cheaters
In this patch we’re adding more security measures to prevent cheaters from exploiting the game. Accounts that cheat or are suspicious of cheating the game in any form will be banned from playing GUM. Please report any suspicious accounts to gum@nhn.com or our Help Center through the game’s settings. Please contact us if you feel you were banned unfairly. Thank you!
