Attention, Commander!
Our biggest update yet is almost here! And it brings new content, a handful of bug fixes, and other improvements to make your raiding experience even better. The teams at Valkyrie and NHN thank everyone playing the game and sharing suggestions and bug reports with us.

NEW CONTENT
Alliances (Beta)
- You can now create and join Alliances!
- Customize your Alliance Banner and use the Chat function to communicate with your Alliance Members.
Prison Break (Beta)
- In this new Game Mode, you will need to collect Keys by defeating Bosses. Break open warehouses to obtain Commander Abilities or unlock Prisons to free allied Units and Prisoners. Units cannot be spawned during battle using Energy like in Raids. Bring your best Units into this Game Mode and save as many Prisoners as possible to get a high score!
Jolly Holidays Event
- Harvest Bundle is back for another round! Limited to 5 additional purchases.
- 2 New Holiday offers added to the store:
- Jolly Winter Bundle: includes the exclusive Jolly Holiday theme, 3 new army colors, and 1000 Gems. One-time deal.
- Jolly Valor Bundle: includes 500 Gems, 3 Legendary Keys, 3 Valor, and 3 Battle Token rolls to help you get started with Prison Break. Limited to 3 purchases.
- A Jolly Time Limited Event is planned to start on December 23rd UTC. Come participate and collect 2 exclusive Army Colors and bonus Legendary Keys!
Glorious Crate
- We’re extending the timer on the Glorious Crate until the end of January.
- We’ll share more information on new revamped crates later in January, as we prepare for our next big update to the game.
BALANCE CHANGES
- Rocketeer Buff - Rocketeer has been a bit too weak in combat, often getting shredded before being able to fire off a rocket. Increased resistances provide more opportunities to fire off some rockets.
- Starting HP 600 -> 575
- Ballistic Resistance -100% -> -50%
- Piercing Resistance -100% -> -75%
- Bombing Run Rebalance - Bombing Run was still too inconsistent in damage and performed poorly in a lot of scenarios where it feels like it should have done more damage. The Bombing Run has been rebalanced to offer more consistent damage over a large area. Although Damage per Bomb is decreased, the overall range of each bomb has been increased greatly, overlapping overall damage to hit targets multiple times.
- Number of Bombs 7 -> 10
- Damage per Bomb 600 -> 250
- Damage Radius 1.5 -> 3
- Damage Falloff 2.5 -> 6.25
- Area Width 27 -> 33
- Increased 6th+ place rewards in Bronze Raid Leagues from 1 Gem to 5 Gems.
FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS
- Time of day is now randomized in stronghold.
- It now costs 100 Gems to rename Player Accounts.
- Added a collect button directly to the ‘Current Objective’ UI, so players can claim rewards from the HUB without needing to open the Missions pop-up.
- Added Player Profile ID to the loading screen.
- Added XP Reward icons to structure upgrade UI, under ‘Next Level Rewards’.
- Added a scroll bar to the Language selection popup .
- Added pitch variation to prevent loud audio stacking .
- Minor updates to Build Mode UI visuals.
- Minor update to Inventory UI visuals.
- Updated Mission and Events Hub button visuals.
- Updated Defensive Rating Icon.
- Updated Cover Resistances bonus stat icons for Sandbags .
- Build Store now has text saying "Out of Stock! Upgrade your Outpost for more options" when the store is empty
- Several localization fixes.
- Improvements were made to matchmaking to address issues where some players were going days or weeks without being attacked. Accounts that haven’t logged in for more than 10 days will be placed at the bottom of the matchmaking queue, making way for Raids and Alliance Battles to happen in between the active community more often.
- Fixed an error that would appear if an image fails to load.
- Fixed incorrect values displaying for Unit stats when assigning Equipment and upgrading Skills.
- Fixed Fire Barrels not showing the build-mode obstruction indicator when placed behind a tree.
- Fixed Tab Arrows being tinted, instead of invisible, when tapping left or right is not available.
- Fixed Equipment Rarity being incorrect in the Store.
- Fixed Daily Deal item rarity background colors for Epic and Legendary items.
- Fixed healing aura occasionally not healing units that were previously healed by a different medic.
- Fixed Base Theme popup transition in the Player Profile.
- Fixed Announcement Menu UI overlapping issues.
- Fixed the Quests Notification icon overlapping text on the Current Objective display.
- Fixed a bug where the Initial Battle UI could stay open and on top of the stars fanfare if you lost the battle.
- Fixed Event score tracking occurring in Test Base battles.
- Fixed Skill Upgrade buttons not updating to reflect current affordability immediately after upgrading a trait.
- Fixed incorrect tooltip text when tapping on a Medal in the Medal Exchange Popup that doesn't have enough to be exchanged.
- Fixed Community Challenge background for Zombie Mode showing Defend Mode instead .
- Fixed a bug that could cause units to be untargetable behind sandbags in certain scenarios.
- Fixed large explosion VFX failing to appear during Missile/BombingRun CA usage.
- Fixed missing sound effects when tapping buttons in the Face Off menu.
- Fixed the game resuming during battle while the Pause menu is opened.
- Fixed ‘Deploy 5 missiles’ mission not completing properly.
- Fixed Upgrade Battlefield Structure Achievement not completing properly.
- Fixed Mortars’ miss landing very far outside of their attack range circle.
- Fixed higher-level Mortar firing position and arcs to match the 3D model better.
- Rally Flags now snap to the nearest walkable space when deployed to prevent being placed inside of Structures.
- Fixed Base Themes not updating immediately upon changing the logged-in account.
- Fixed Hindi font overlapping text across the UI.
- Fixed Missile Truck sometimes turning around in battle.
- Fixed replay desync issue caused by the Commando ability.
- Army Color UI Popup now displays without the current Base Theme lighting to provide a more accurate display for colors.
- Fixed an issue with "Add Equipment" and "Add Unit to Loadout" Missions.
- Fixed Reward Preview icons for Structures disappearing.
- Fixed "Spawn 10 Assault squad(s) across any mode" Mission not completing properly.
- Fixed League Rank Display not refreshing while waiting in the Game Mode menu when the League duration ends.
- Fixed exploit used to stack Structures together in the battlefield.
- Fixed Mission reward collection soft locking if activated during a level up or structure upgrade.
- Fixed Game Mode buttons overlapping Crate slots.
- Fixed missing currency displays in the Inventory when looking at the Equipment and - Commander Ability categories.
- Fixed the Daily Mission category timer always displaying 0s in some cases.
- Fixed the Indian Rupee character not displaying properly.
- Fixed Commander Ability Traps in Defend Mode removing Commander Abilities from the Inventory when levels were the same.
- Fixed camera shake drifting the camera off of the level in some situations.
- Fixed Notification Icons showing up for locked Units even when not enough Medals were present.
