Greetings Commanders!

 

We wanted to prepare everyone for one of the biggest updates for GUNS UP Mobile! to date. With it comes new features and a ton of changes to existing content. Our main focus with this patch was adjusting the economy and progression. After carefully analyzing all of our data we have determined areas where we needed to adjust values to lead to a more balanced and fair experience for everyone.

   Armory
Heroic Crates will grant tickets to a new Store selection called the Armory. The Armory is a new feature designed to give players more choice over what kind of content they want to unlock. Participate in Events to earn Keys for Heroic Crates!

With this new feature, Universal Skill Medals will no longer be obtainable. Additionally, any Medals that exceed the maximum needed to unlock all Skills for any Unit or Vehicle will be automatically converted into Armory Tickets. Check back regularly for new rewards in the Armory!

   Builder Changes
The free Builders granted from upgrading the Engineering HQ Structure will be removed. Any existing construction will be completed if they are currently working. Everyone will be compensated with Gems for this change.

   Economy Changes
Raids and Challenges will be rebalanced. Raids will be granting more Gold and Munitions and less items. Challenges will be granting more Materials but will no longer grant Gold and will grant less Munitions.

Gold and Munition Generators have been rebalanced to grant less Gold and Munitions. More resources can be obtained from the extended “Win 1 Raid(s) with at least 2 Stars” Mission series that now scales with Command Center level.

Daily Missions will no longer grant Gems as rewards. New sources for Gem rewards will be implemented in future updates.

   Daily Deals
Daily Deals now scale with Command Center level to grant more relevant rewards. Some Daily Deals can now be purchased with Munitions!

   Skills
With the introduction of the Armory and Daily Deals update, it will become easier to choose desired Skill Medals. Skill Unlock and Upgrade requirements have been adjusted along with these changes.

   Progression Changes
EXP gain has been adjusted to promote building and upgrading Defensive Structures. This will help prevent players from needing to grind battles for EXP at certain points in progression. Along with the EXP gain, Wall’s upgrade time has been reduced.

   Gameplay Balancing
We understand that there are some underperforming units that need to be addressed and re-balanced.
Some of the units we will be addressing in the next patch will include: Paratroopers, Engineer, Assault Car, and more!

   Guided Experience
Over 800 new Missions will be added to GUM! These missions will reward players for advancing through the game, and assist players in the early stages of progression.

   Matchmaking Changes
We are aware of issues with Matchmaking that are causing players to run into very difficult opponents over and over at certain points in progression. This patch will include changes that will help alleviate some of these issues and provide a more balanced experience.

Along with all of these updates comes new VFX for abilities and tons of bug fixes.

 

This is not the end of balancing for GUM! We will continue to make adjustments to improve the overall experience.
