Attention, Commander!

The battlefield is evolving, and the top brass wants you to know the details!

 

Skills

Skills have been reworked.

  • All Unit Skills now have a max level of 10.
  • All Vehicle Skills now have a max level of 5.
  • Ultimate Skills will be unlocked once a combined 10 (5 for Vehicles) levels across all base skills is reached. Players will now be free to unlock and upgrade skills in whatever order they like. This is a large reduction in overall Medals required to unlock Ultimate Skills.
  • Players who have previously unlocked Skills will be upgraded to the appropriate level that matches current stat values. This means that Units and Vehicles will either have the same stat increases they had before, or they will be better.
  • Medal requirement curve has been adjusted to the new levels to make them more accessible.

 

Economy Balance

Increased Gold/Munitions gained from Raids/Alliance Battles.

Increased Resources protected by Veterans when defending against other players.

Increased Gold/Munitions from Generators.

Reduced the amount of Gold/Munitions stolen by other players.

Updated Heroic Crate Drops.

  • Increased Drops from 3 -> 4.
  • Decreased Medals per drop from 3 - > 2.
  • Adjusted Drop Rates.

Reduced Raid Crate Armory Ticket rewards.

Gold and Munition Store Costs now depend on Command Center Level instead of a flat value. This will reduce Gem cost to fill resources at higher Command Center Levels.

Updated Alliance League Rewards.

Updated Alliance Global Rewards.

  • 1st-3rd now grants 3 Common Keys.
  • 1st Place now grants 3 Legendary Keys.
  • 2nd Place now grants 2 Legendary Keys.
  • 3rd Place now grants 1 Legendary Key.

 

UI

New News and Announcements UI.

Ability Stats Display.

  • Information about abilities are now visible within Unit and Vehicle pages.
  • Abilities that are upgraded with the level of the Unit/Vehicle are now displayed on the Upgrade Menu.

Updated Unit, Vehicle, and the Upgrade popups.

Improved Medal art.

Updated Medal rarity to match the rarity of the associated Unit or Vehicle.

Improved Missions Menu UI.

Added Account Deletion UI.

Added Refund Policy info button to the Store.

Various UI Improvements.

 

Art

Added animation for the dish of the RadioTower to rotate in a 360 degrees.

Various art improvements.

 

General Improvements

Replays can now be shared in alliance chat!

Units behind cover now reload if there is nothing to shoot at.

Units spread out more when spawning from Tent / Outpost.

Replays that can't be played back now indicate if the replay expired or if it is from a newer version of the game.

Improved loading performance.

Updated Terms of Service and Privacy Policy links.

 

Unit Balancing Adjustments

Adjusted Unit Spawn Counts from Tents per Unit Type.

 

Paratroopers are still needing a little more push to compete with other Units.

Paratrooper

  • Base Health 275 -> 300.

 

The Commando has been an absolute powerhouse for a while now. This change should bring him more in line with other units while still being the highest damage dealing Unit in GUM.

Commando 

  • Base Damage 30 -> 21.

 

Colonel Ability is proving to be too strong in defense, making some bases nearly unbeatable.

Colonel

  • Tent Spawn Cooldown 29 -> 30.
  • Attack Range 23 -> 22.
  • Ability Duration 8 -> 3.
  • Adjusted Colonel Ability Range from 22 -> 10 for commanding allied Units.
  • The Colonel won't force defenders to attack through their own walls.
  • Wounded Units that are waiting to be revived by Surgeons can no longer be targeted and Focus Fire is immediately removed.

 

Some Units needed some balance adjustments to account for added Skill levels.

Bounty Hunter 

  • Tent Spawn Cooldown 28 -> 31.
  • Bullets Per Attack 10 -> 7 (Skill 2 now grants up to 10 extra bullets at max level instead of 6).

Engineer

  • Bullets Per Attack 10 -> 7 (Skill 2 now grants up to 10 extra bullets at max level instead of 6).
  • Increased Engineer range from 15 to 16.

Medic

  • Medic Heal Targets 10 -> 5 (Skill 1 now grants up to 10 bonus Heal targets at max level instead of 4).

 

Bug Fixes

Fixed Outpost lights not turning off when destroyed.

Fixed Assault Car wheels bouncing too much.

Fixed Gold Generator VFX.

Fixed Complete Raid Missions not triggering upon defeats.

Play Alliance Battle Missions now require 1 Star Win.

Fixed Store offers opening before the login popup screen.

Fixed cached image not scaling correctly (most commonly seen in the news articles).

Fixed Skill UI not updating when unlocking Unit/Vehicles with Medals.

Fixed the displayed quantity of Valor in the Inventory.

Fixed MG Suppression getting applied to out of range units when battle first starts.

Fixed Healing particles in Defend Mode.

Fixed missing purchase loading spinning graphics.

Fixed Edit Name prompt not appearing if the player is already signed in and skips the Initial Battle Tutorial.

Fixed account linking status issues.

Fixed various Replay issues.

Fixed Alliance Global Rewards display not showing all of the rewards.

Fixed Gems disappearing in the Store when device localization is set to specific languages.

The appropriate error message will now be displayed when attempting to create a profile name that is less than 3 characters.

Fixed various localization issues.

Fixed various UI issues.

Fixed various Mission trigger issues.

Various art/VFX Fixes.

 

Known Issues

  • Veteran Lodgings displays unused Gold and Munitions caps.
  • There is no icon at Bonus Objective, but rewards are given when completing the stage.
